His horses, including the legendary High-Rise, Postponed, and Rosallion, dominated the tracks both in Europe and internationally. Despite his outspoken nature, Sheikh Mohammed Obaid supported a diverse range of handlers, backing yards in northern Britain. This led to remarkable success, with trainers like Karl Burke and Kevin Ryan delivering group 1 victories for the owner. Ryan's horses, such as Triple Time and Emaraaty Ana, brought glory, while Burke's Royal Champion provided a memorable win just before Sheikh Mohammed Obaid's passing.
And this is the part most people miss... Sheikh Mohammed Obaid's true passion lay in breeding. His expertise and eye for talent were evident in the exceptional horses he produced. Rosallion, a group 1 winner and a star in recent years, is just one example.
